Original configuration and dimensions

We prefer rather lower, sporty vehicle designs and so from the beginning decided clearly against an alcove model. The downside is less space in the cabin but since it’s only us two traveling, we still have enough space. Especially as the Dopfer model offers a rather large storage garage and plenty of additional storage space above the driver cabin.

In terms of layout, we have a fixed bed in the back (it was important to not have to build the bed each day), we have a bathroom and a separate shower. You might ask, why waste valuable space for a shower. Good question. Yes, the shower is not used too often. Still, when you do use it, it gives you a real shower experience and your bathroom is not flooded with water. So far, no regrets, and the shower is also used as intermediate storage.

We ordered our Dopfer Iveco on October-28, 2021 with a planned delivery of March-2023 and picked up our Giraffe on June-5, 2023.
